What's New in the 2023 Accord?

New Powertrain Options

The 2023 Accord underwent a complete redesign and marks the start of the next generation for the model, with completely new trim levels and powertrains to choose from. The EX and LX gas-powered trim levels have access to a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 192 horsepower at a combined average fuel economy of 32 mpg.

The hybrid powertrains include a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that is combined with dual electric motors to produce 204 horsepower with a combined 44 mpg for the Sport and Touring editions and 48 mpg for the other hybrid trim levels. Both powertrains make use of an automatic continuously variable transmission.

New Interior Features

The interior of the Accord has been updated to maximize comfort for both driver and passengers, with new soft upholstery throughout and ample headroom and legroom for both front and rear seats. Available notable upgrades include leather upholstery and heated seats, as well as convenience features like a wireless charging pad for your smartphone.

New Technology

The Accord comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen that is integrated with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for ease of access. A 10.2-inch digital display behind the steering wheel is standard across each trim, and options to note include a premium 12-speaker Bose sound system and an even larger 12.3-inch screen.

Beyond the consumer technology inside the cabin, there's also a whole suite of safety features that now come standard, including a stolen vehicle locator with immobilization, lane departure assist, and automatic front collision detection with emergency braking.
