Baker neighborhoods and just five miles southeast of downtown Seattle, Stan Sayres Memorial Park is known for the Seafair Hydroplane Race that takes place in the area every year. A well-known destination among boaters, kayakers, and canoers from Seattle and beyond, this park can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car from the city center via Lake Washington Boulevard.
